Lance Golding is an accomplished teacher and performer of both contemporary music and Jazz. He specializes in sharing his deep historical knowledge of music and music theory. His knowledge of the history of Rock n’ Roll, Jazz, Folk, and the Blues has helped his students to become versatile performers that are able to play all popular styles of guitar music. Lance has been able to establish a unique teaching technique for all ages that lays a firm musical foundation for his students. His unique teaching method, effective coaching and patience allow his students to have fun while learning to play music. Lance has also helped many students prepare for auditions to the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts guitar program.
Lance has attended many top-ranked music schools including Berklee College of Music, University of Arizona, University of Nevada Las Vegas, and has studied with Charlie Banacos, Joe Lano, and Jack Peterson. After touring the East coast and Canada, he relocated to Las Vegas in 1978 to perform at hotels on the Las Vegas Strip and serve as musical director for his wife who is a singer/songwriter.
