Josue Gil Rojas is a dedicated music educator possessing a strong background in Latin and classical music. Born in Mexico, he commenced his musical journey in middle school in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 11. Since then, he has cultivated a passion for teaching and performing music.

Josue received formal training at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and subsequently pursued a degree in Music Performance at the College of Southern Nevada. In addition to his academic achievements, he holds a certification in Music Business and Technology.

With over 11 years of teaching and performing experience, Josue has tutored students of all ages and skill levels in both private and group settings. He is the owner and leader of a Latin band in Las Vegas, performing on the Las Vegas Strip, downtown Las Vegas, and other out-of-state venues. Through his performances, he represents his culture and Latin heritage.

Josue’s teaching philosophy emphasizes nurturing each student’s unique voice while establishing a strong technical foundation. His approach focuses on creativity, discipline, and most importantly, allowing students to embrace their true selves. Josue teaches classical guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, piano, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, and vihuela, incorporating a diverse range of styles such as jazz, classical, metal, Latin jazz, mariachi, flamenco, modern music, and much more. His primary objective is to tailor his lessons to the specific goals and interests of each individual student.
