A current member of various local music groups in Las Vegas, Joe Kennedy is a seasoned drummer with a great aptitude for teaching drum set application and performance. Joe studied at both the College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, NV and at Willamette University in Salem, OR. He currently holds a Bachelor of Music degree and over 15 years of playing experience with a focus on rock, metal, and jazz.

As a drummer, Joe has toured the Northwest and West Coast regions, and has released multiple albums within the last few years. As a teacher, he believes that one never stops learning, and that to teach is to reinforce the skills and lessons that shaped who he is today.

Joe’s focus on teaching involves helping students develop the necessary skills to understand their instrument and to develop a unique voice in their playing. His approach is applicable to students of all levels and is coupled with a fun environment for which any aspiring musician can discover their musical identity at their own pace.
