Evyn Joseph
Evyn Joseph was born in Las Vegas and has played the violin since the age of three. Her studies began under the direction of Melanie Shiemer. She went on to study with Jennifer Hellewell, Shakeh Ghoukasian, and now studies with Dr. Ambroise Aubrun. She is currently a student at the University of Nevada majoring in Music Performance. Aside from violin, Evyn studied viola and piano for several years under the direction of Valeria Ore.
During Evyn’s high school years at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts she participated in various ensembles including the All State ensemble and summer string camps. She was the concertmaster in the school’s top Philharmonic Orchestra level. After high school, she traveled throughout Europe and was selected to perform in Milan, Italy with UNLV’s Virtuosi Strings. Evyn has performed in the Latin Grammys and the Latin American Music Awards. She has performed with many notable artists including The Piano Guys, Frankie Moreno, and Clint Holmes.
Evyn has always loved being a leader and teaching students of all ages. Her students have fun and grow their passion for music. Evyn believes in being adaptable to each student and finding the proper technique and balance to make playing their respective instrument feel good. She feels that music is the world’s greatest gift and aims to demonstrate that through her teaching.
