Christopher Vivas

Christopher Vivas is a passionate violinist, violist and pianist hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada. His musical journey began in middle school and continued through his studies at Las Vegas Academy and UNLV. He has performed both nationally and internationally, including a residency at Arkansas’s Hot Springs 24th Music Festival and tours through Italy’s renowned conservatories. Recognized for his leadership and artistry at the Interlochen Center of the Arts, Christopher has also shared the stage with artists like Paige O’Hara and Santana.

Christopher is known throughout the valley for having assisted, coached, instructed, and taught at several musical events, and schools. Christopher has also had several students receive a superior rating at solo and ensemble, participate in the Clark County School District Honor Orchestra, play in the Las Vegas Youth Orchestra and Las Vegas Young Artist Orchestra, and perform in the Nevada All-State Orchestra. 

Christopher was awarded the opportunity to provide music experiences to children throughout the Las Vegas Valley in collaboration with the Las Vegas Philharmonic. His impactful work was even memorialized in a Las Vegas PBS special, which highlighted his dedication to teaching music. 

Christopher loves to teach and gets great fulfillment when he sees his students progressing. It is his goal that students will leave each lesson encouraged by the progress they are making striving towards their performance goals. His intent is to give students the highest level of education possible while keeping lessons enjoyable.
